Our Story

SE Blueprint, Inc

SE Blueprint has been providing printing services to Northeast Ohio’s building industry since 1990. As communications transitioned from paper to electronic workflows, we transitioned into Building Information Managers supporting the quality of design, construction and facility related information for all stakeholders.

In 1995 the PlanCycle.com® Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) was established for hosting and distributing electronic documents throughout all phases of a construction project. In 2014 Digital Preservation Planning standards were established for managing facility related documents long-term. And in 2015 the PlanCycle.com® division of SE Blueprint adopted Digital Preservation Planning standards to accommodate Municipal Record Retention requirements.

Thirty years, and thousands of digitizing/EDMS projects later, the PlanCycle.com® division of SE Blueprint are expert Data Stewards supporting the quality of electronic information for hundreds of clients throughout the United States.

Digitizing & Records Cataloging Services

STOP KICKING THE CAN DOWN THE ROAD!

Every institution, public and private, must start digitizing their critical long-term paper records now, or it will be their fault that future stakeholders will not have access to the information they’ll require for making informed decisions.

Spread the cost of digitizing services over 10 years or more if necessary, but doing nothing just increases the risk of lost information. If you’re overwhelmed with the amount of data and not sure just how to get started, let us help you!

We offer a “Cataloging Service” that creates a spreadsheet of each box, drawer, roll, or pile of records that gets cross referenced to the Ohio History Connection administration’s recommended record retention schedules. This spreadsheet provides a roadmap for cleaning up decades of old records and helps define a path forward for establishing and managing a sustainable Digital Preservation Plan for future stakeholders.

Digital Preservation Planning Services

EVERY INSTITUTION, PUBLIC AND PRIVATE,  NEEDS A DIGITAL PRESERVATION PLAN FOR SUSTAINING ACCESS TO LONG TERM RECORDS!

All information today is created electronically, classified as “born digital”. The fact is that electronic information is not archival and will not be available to future generations due to poor planning, neglect, file degradation and changing technologies without a plan for managing these risks.

Digital Preservation Plans are not specifically software. They are a combination of policies, strategies, and actions that address the integrity, accessibility, and redundancy for the data.

This is not a myth; it is a fact!
